Most of the World is Lovin’ it
Since its launch in 1955, the fast-food conglomerate, McDonald’s has become one of the most successful fast-food chains in the world. This map below outlines the fast-food company’s success. Red represents all of the regions that have a McDonald’s. You may be surprised that there are two blue countries that have removed McDonald’s from their citizens’ diet.

McDonald’s no longer exists in Bolivia and Iran. Grey represents all of the regions that have never opened a McDonald’s. Clearly, Africa is not a big fan of the fast-food conglomerate, whereas Russia, Europe, Australia, and western countries seem to be lovin’ the stuff, just as McDonald’s promises year after year.
