This map illustrates the regions in the world and their levels of emotions and it shows that North America is, by far, the most emotional continent in the world, along with some parts of South America and Europe Emotions are based on factors of what is important to you. It seems like emotions run much higher in more affluent countries.

In North America, we have so much useless stuff and live in such a commercialized world that we’re always convinced that we’re not happy unless we have more. Russia seems to be the least emotional country and Asia and North Africa are somewhere in the middle. Africa is the most emotionally mixed continent.
