Office Antics That Prove Humor Is Alive and Well

February 22, 2010 by Molly Reynolds

Working in a real office is generally a far cry from the TV series The Office (or any other TV show representing a fun office life). No Michael Scott to embarrass himself and you. No Jim Halpert to orchestrate ludicrous office pranks. Mostly, office life means rows and rows of droll cubicles suffering under the gaze of unappealing light fixtures. Mundane workdays that crawl by. Useless coworkers that get on your nerves. You get the picture. Thankfully, the pranks below prove to us that humor is alive and well in some office spaces, and depending on the people you work with, office life doesn’t have to be so boring. It can even be quite fun! Take a look for yourself.

A Small Parking Violation

This office worker left a toy car on their colleague’s desk for no apparent reason. Said colleague retaliated with a gift in the form of a mini parking violation ticket that they stuck on the windshield. “Sir, you’ve been charged with not putting your toys away.” Office shenanigans come at a steep price.

Of course, some people may not appreciate it when others leave belongings in their respective spaces. Thankfully, this person appears to have a great sense of humor. Or they’re subtly telling the perpetrator to put their stuff away like a big kid would. We may never know the true story behind this.
