8. Katy or Roseanne?
As much as we love a good, cheesy family sitcom to give us a dose of good feels, the fact is, they’re a whole universe away from reality with their picture-perfect lives. Married…With Children brought us back down to earth with the Bundys and their unconventional ways that stirred up controversy from 1987 to 1997.
Katy Segal was responsible for giving Peg Bundy her iconic 60’s housewife look and nailing the part in every episode, so it’s hard to imagine anyone else in her heels, but we almost wound up with Roseanne Barr as one of the leading Bundys. Although Barr was the first pick, she turned down the role to concentrate on Roseanne.
