A Missed Chance at A Ferrari
One executive producer of the show, Mike Richards, admitted that he prefers Ferraris to any other car and had always wished the show would give one as a prize. His dreams were fulfilled in 2013 when a Ferrari 458 Spider became a prize to be won on the show.
“The Price is Right” didn’t actually buy the Ferrari, rather rented it, with the promise to buy it if the contestant won the car. Sadly, the contestant in question guessed the wrong price and didn’t win anything, so the beautiful car was returned to the dealership.
