#29: It’s Hard to Imagine
Every generation has a hard time imagining people older than them enjoying the same things they do. Also, since these platforms are friend based, most of these kids see other Gen-Z people on there, so they assume that Millennials and Gen-X have no idea about it.
Snapchat came out in 2011, one year before the last Gen-Z was born. Facebook came out in 2004 when the first of Gen-Z was eight years old. MySpace came out one year earlier. Gen-Z does have their fair share of social media platforms, though, and they communicate through them far more than the older generations.
