It seems like everyone is sharing everyone online these days. That’s not necessarily a good thing! Social media, geolocations, and the internet as a whole have become so commonplace that most of us take our lack of privacy as a given. It didn’t always use to be like that. Whatever happened to personal privacy?
For better or worse, most of us have way less privacy than people did even a few decades ago. Unless you’re completely unplugged and off the grid, some portion of your online activity has been monitored, sold, and commodified. We don’t mean to freak anyone out, but it’s true! In our modern world, it’s important to be aware of how we share our personal lives online.
