Pregnancy means there are a lot of phone calls and text messages to be sent, whether it’s sharing the exciting news with friends and family or letting your boss know you need some time off to get things sorted. Choose your words carefully though, or else you could find yourself entangled in the corner of an awkward, non-existent love triangle.
We don’t blame the wife for popping off at seeing an “I’m pregnant” message on her husband’s phone, but some of us have that inescapable habit of hitting the send button on a text message to emulate the real-life pauses in storytelling. So if you text like you talk, use caution when sending pregnancy announcements.
