The Dog Boy
At first, this might sound like a nice and happy story about a boy who loved dogs, but sadly, it is not that kind of story. This is 65 Mulberry Street in Quitman, Arkansas. The legend says that a terrifying 300 pound half man, half beast lived there, and if you approached the door, you would be chased down by him with his sharp teeth and glowing animal eyes. In reality, the real story behind the Dog Boy was even worse.

A man named Gerald Bettis lived in that house, the single child of the Bettis family. When he was young, Gerald would “adopt” animals and torture them. After he graduated from killing animals, he allegedly imprisoned his own elderly parents at the home, until finally murdering his father. Ultimately, Bettis was imprisoned for growing Marijuana, and died in a state penitentiary from a drug overdose in 1988.
