Avoid Using Airplane Blankets
Do you know how often cabin crews do the laundry? Yeah, we don’t, either. There’s no telling how often they wash the blankets they hand over to their cold passengers. It’s always safer to assume that the cabin crew does the least amount of work to cut costs. We don’t blame them; it’s the airline’s fault!
So, if you want to prepare for a cold flight across the country, you can do two things: wear multiple layers as discussed earlier, or purchase your own travel-friendly blanket. The former option is better since you can actually save suitcase space. That’s just our humble opinion, though.
