People Who Don’t Understand the Art of Negotiation

Borrowing money from people is always awkward, especially if you want to borrow money from people you barely know! It’s one thing to ask a friend to cover your parking ticket (if you promise to pay them back), but asking someone who’s only an acquaintance? Where do people get the nerve?

Apparently, this person was in need of some cash to pay a parking ticket and reached out to someone on his contact list. Only, this someone wasn’t a friend, and he certainly didn’t feel close enough to give him the money. We don’t know the nature of their relationship, but judging by his response, this person doesn’t sound like a very good friend.
