Don’t buy a piano
There’s a tendency to call any business deal that doesn’t go your way a scam. It’s not necessarily accurate, but it happens all the time. Take Peter, for example. He wants to lowball his friend in order to purchase a piano, and when they decline, he’s more than a little unhappy.

He calls the seller a scumbag and a scammer, simply because he’s selling a piano around Christmastime. Interesting logic. It seems to us that this seller just turned down a bad offer, seeing as he had been offered $500 more for it already. Sorry Peter, unfortunately nobody is required to enter into a bad business deal with you just because you’re low on money.
