Kids Discover Their Parents’ Cool Past

This woman is absolutely amazing. She was a red cross volunteer during WWII and even had her own radio show. You can’t get any more impressive than that. Especially, at a time when men ruled the world and everything in it. This woman did what so many wanted to but couldn’t. That is definitely something to be proud of. 

This woman will probably never know how many lives she may have impacted. My grandfather was in the Navy during WWII and said that sometimes the only good moments came from interacting with the volunteers from back home. I’ve heard more stories about that than about war.  I hope that your family knows just how amazing all of your accomplishments are.
