Kids Discover Their Parents’ Cool Past

Once again, someone has found a picture of their moms service. This person’s mom flew helicopters in the army during the eighties. That is so awesome. Your kids must be so very proud. I know I would be if I was them. My mom won’t step foot onto a plane. It is hard not to be jealous.

It’s not like I can brag all that much about how awesome it was for my mom, who worked as an accountant in the eighties and nineties, to work for a savings and loans company. It just doesn’t garner the same kind of enthusiasm. It definitely isn’t something we brag about. I wonder if my mom would be willing to join the army so I could have more interesting stories to tell.
