Kids Discover Their Parents’ Cool Past

Our moms are not just great at making pies—- as it turns out, they’re much better at eating them! The badass young girl in this photo is taken during the pie-eating contest which consisted of all boys—- leaving her to be the only female participant. What happened afterward? You guessed it: she won the contest without breaking a sweat!

After seeing this photo of their mom, I’m pretty sure her kids bugged her to give them more details about how she bested the boys in this contest. Why wouldn’t they? This is so cool! I never even knew that this contest existed before I saw this photo, but this made me want to dig out my parents’ old albums to check if they’ve been in one.
