Believe in Destiny
Do you believe in soul mates and destiny? Most people don’t believe in those things, but when you look at this photo, it definitely gets harder to disprove them. This sweet kid with a rare eye condition and a cleft lip was bullied at school for his different appearance. We all know how mean kids can be – some of us experienced that first-hand – and no one deserves to be bullied for their looks.
One day, this 7-year old boy found a cat who shares the same eye condition, called heterochromia iridum, and has a cleft lip. It truly seems like an act of destiny that the two found each other. It seems like having a friend (even a feline friend) who shares the exact same condition is just what this kid needed. Someone shared the photo of the cat for adoption on a local Facebook group, and the kid’s parents immediately knew he belonged with them.
