Taking Care Of Tamas
The Tamagotchi craze of 1996 gave us a digital taste of parenthood and what happens when you don’t bathe your kids, feed them too late, or punish them too often. Schools banned them from campus, leaving us to care for our tamas primarily on the weekends before we’d go to school and come home to find them dead again.
People thought they made a comeback a few years ago with the re-release of the first generation styled models, but the truth is, they never went away. Tamagotchis evolved over time, just like us, and they now have color screens, NFC capabilities, and even get married and have families. However, I still can’t take care of one to save my life.
