Just Another Tuesday
Have you heard of George Dantzig, an American mathematician? You should be familiar with him! Apparently, George’s genius was discovered one day by chance! He was late to class one day and took two math problems from the board, thinking they were homework.
He had no idea he was solving two well-known unsolved problems in statistical theory. Can you imagine just solving two unsolvable math issues like that? In high school, I could barely do my arithmetic homework! Dantzig was born in 1936 and died in 2005; his tale is certainly worth telling.
