Not Your Normal Condiment
Chips — or fries — are a favorite side in both the UK and America. In both places in the world, it is common for a young group of people to go to a bar or a diner after the club to share a plate of fries before officially calling it a night.
While Americans add ketchup, mayo, and sometimes even gravy to their fries, the Brits add a condiment that people from other countries wouldn’t dream of adding to this well-known side dish. While ketchup, mayo, and gravy are also popular additions to chips in the UK, many Brits will also cover their chips in curry sauce.
