Christopher Robin – Christopher Robin Milne
Winnie the Pooh is based on Alan Alexander Milne’s books about the yellow bear. The first theatrical installment of the franchise came out in 1966 and was called Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. The owner of the bear throughout the entire franchise has remained Christopher Robin, who was inspired by Milne’s son.
Although Christopher Robin Milne did not voice the character, he owned a yellow bear and his dad wrote the stories so it is only fitting that he was the main inspiration behind the character. Interestingly enough, Christopher Robin Milne went on to become an author just like his father.
