Having another person sticking up for us, protecting us from dangers, supporting us during our trials and tribulations, is a huge part of marriage. There’s even a line about it in the vows. We expect our spouses to be there in our hour of need, with helpful comments, or decisive actions.
Or we could be married to this guy. Just so you know, the reasonable response to this situation is to gently but deftly swipe the bee away from your wife’s arm. It’s not to pick up your paper megaphone and scare both your wife and the bee into panicking. Subtlety is not this man’s strong point.
