Body Art, Not Smart
Throughout the years, society has evolved to become more accepting of things like odd hair colors, body piercings, tattoos, and other forms of body art. At least, that’s the case in most Western countries. South Korea, on the other hand, feels different about tattoos. If you ever visit this country, make sure you cover yours.
Covering your tattoos completely would be the most respectful thing to do, even if your body art is modest. Or else you’re likely to receive a few stares you may not appreciate. Asian countries have a different outlook on this form of self-expression. This may be because tattoo art is illegal in South Korea and can only be performed by professional doctors.
