Ridiculous Things Mom and Dad Made Us Believe

February 4, 2021 by Elizabeth Grillo

How to Get Them to Stop

The things parents come up with just to get their kids to behave are pretty unbelievable. This woman’s son had a habit of constantly turning the backlight on and off while she was driving. Not only was it annoying, but it was also extremely distracting and she genuinely thought at times that she might crash.

Instead of explaining to her son that it was dangerous, she made up a terrifying lie promising that they would crash and go straight to prison if he didn’t stop. Now that he’s a parent, he understands the annoyance but also knows the chances of him crashing and going to prison over it are slim.
