Ridiculous Things Mom and Dad Made Us Believe 

While most kids like to eat their sandwich with the crust cut off, some people consider it to be the best part of the bread. This girl’s aunt certainly did. She convinced her niece who always longed for straighter hair that if she ate the crust, her hair would get curly. More crust for the aunt!

Of course this is a ridiculous lie, but little kids will believe anything that adults tell them. Her aunt is another example of an adult who told a child a lie for their own benefit. It didn’t take long for her to realize that her aunt was full of bologna, but it’s still a mean trick to play on a child who actually likes the crust.
