Ridiculous Things Mom and Dad Made Us Believe 

This girl grew up with a mother who had extremely traditional views about how women should behave, dress, and live, and she tried to instill all of these beliefs into her daughter. To her mother, only men should have dignified professions, girls can’t have fun during certain things that boys can do, and they can’t express love towards female friends. 

Growing up being influenced in these ways could be hard for a child to shake off as they grow older. However, as these women became more exposed to people in society, she had a better understanding of what was okay and what was not. She quickly realized her mother had just never evolved.
