Movie Theaters
When they were kids, millennials usually looked forward to going to the movies with their best friends on the weekends to see the newest flick and fight over who gets that last piece of popcorn. Movie theaters have tried to make the experience even more appealing with reclining chairs, fast food service, and surround sound.
Even with those extra benefits that have been added over the years, millennials are choosing to stay at home to watch movies due to the easy access of an unlimited number of films with streaming apps and the ability to cut the cost of paying for a ticket. Others used to only be able to access high-definition films at the theaters. But millennials have had the leisure of growing up with 50-inch flat screens that include HD and surround sound, bringing the movie-going experience right to their homes.
