Cringe-Worthy Text Message Exchanges Between People and Their Landlords

This one is a quandary. The landlord is typically responsible for the general maintenance of the grounds around an apartment. That includes mowing the lawn in summer and keeping the walkway de-iced in winter. Unfortunately, cleaning the cut grass off the sidewalk falls in a grey middle area.

This landlord and tenant seem to be in the midst of a power struggle over the sidewalk. Each side seems to believe that it isn’t their job to clean it up and expects the other to do it. And since it only takes two minutes to sweep off the grass, we can’t understand why this is such a big deal. We think some bad blood was already there with these two.
