Serpent D’Océan is the official name of this art piece, which is located on the beachline of Saint-Brevin-Les-Pins. This full-metal art project is shaped like a Chinese mythological dragon. Huang Yong Ping produced the sculpture in 2012, and his original intention was to make a statement against man’s mistreatment of the ocean and all of its inhabitants. It’s quite ironic if you think about it.
