Renee Zellweger
Renee Zellweger had a strong athletic side to her while growing up in Texas. Not only was Zellweger a Katy High School cheerleader, but she also had a passion for several other athletic teams and even the debate team. Let’s face it. If you were ever part of a Model UN in high school, you know bringing that spirit and confidence to the debate floor can’t hurt when you’re aiming for the win.
Zellweger’s strong spirit and competitive drive didn’t just make her a winner at Katy High. She went on to be the highest-paid actress of 2007. She earned her big break playing Dorothy Boyd in Jerry Maguire alongside Tom Cruise in 1996 and became an international star for the Bridget Jones’s Diary movie series. She also starred in the 2002 Academy Award-winning musical, Chicago.
