Kathie Lee Gifford
Kathie Lee Gifford fell into stardom after leading a not-so-traditional childhood. At the age of 4, Gifford and her family moved from Paris to Maryland. It wasn’t until Gifford joined the cheerleading team at Bowie High School that she began leading the more traditional teenhood that we see in the movies.
It wasn’t until Gifford won Maryland’s Junior Miss Pageant in 1970 that she realized a career in front of the camera was her passion. Three years later, she began studying drama and music at Oral Roberts University while trying to get a start in television acting. Gifford is most known as the co-host of The Morning Show, later renamed Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee.
