“No Parking in Your Driveway”: Reddit Users Share Wild and Confusing HOA Rules and Regulations

This HOA wants its drivers to be as safe as possible. That means eliminating any possible distractions while on the road. They mean business, because they banned the weirdest things so as not to “distract” drivers in their community. Basketball hoops and car covers were banned in this community because these two things are constantly causing accidents. 

We get it. Car covers are most definitely the most distracting thing on the road! After all, someone could be driving 20 mph down the road and crash because they’re openly staring at a covered car, wondering what’s underneath! And don’t get us started on basketball hoops. If no one is out on the street playing basketball, and the hoop is just… existing out there?! Forget it.
