“No Parking in Your Driveway”: Reddit Users Share Wild and Confusing HOA Rules and Regulations

If this list is teaching us anything, it’s that HOA members love to create self-serving rules. This person’s friend lived in an apartment complex that had an active HOA. One day, they released a new regulation stating that no one was allowed to vacuum between the hours of 1 to 3 pm. 

This seems like a really random, arbitrary time. However, this two-hour gap in the afternoon was actually the HOA president’s child’s nap time. The president put regulations on everyone else’s routine so that they could get a guaranteed break from their kid for two hours each day. Honestly, this move is as genius as it is evil.
