#18: Ratatouille!
No, most chefs don’t walk around with rats in their hats, but who could forget the loveable Remy starring in the 2007 Pixar Film Ratatouille? He was such a sweet and cute little chef, and he helped Linguini make masterpieces! Chef hats, professionally known as toque Blanche, are a French concept that helps people recognize the top chefs in the kitchen.

Hats are imperative for hygiene, and white represents cleanliness. The taller the cap, the more expertise that chef has. The pleats are rumored as a count of how many different ways that chef can cook an egg! If I had one, it would only have five pleats and barely cover my hair.
