Improvising when making desserts
Making desserts is a lot more complex than it looks on YouTube. If the dessert recipe is something the chef came up with, it probably after hundreds of errors. They nailed it down after tossing out several pounds of inedible desserts. So, if you want to add a touch of uniqueness to the dessert dish, don’t.
At least, don’t do it until you’ve nailed the recipe. Some things shouldn’t be tampered with, such as the type and quantity of flour, and the type of sweetener. Later on, after you’ve tried the recipe for yourself, you can think of twisting it to your own liking.
