This is shockingly true. It’s been a while since I’ve taken world history, but all the facts I’ve learned about South America, Africa, and Australia are ones I learned as an adult. I mean, on the one hand, there’s only so much time within a class, but on the other, it should be more balanced!

Thankfully, now that my generation is raising kids of their own and internet access is rampant, many children are getting a more well-rounded education. Please fill in the gaps in your kid’s knowledge bank. Our school systems have a long way to go before they’re perfect.
