Maryland – A War Battle Monument
For many decades, the world has kept on observing decimating wars. In 1812, among a large number of the terrible battles during the war, was the Battle of North Point in 1814, which saw American soldiers intensely debilitate their British partners in the wake of executing one of their commanders.
It is thought that the photograph was taken by John Plumbe, the same photographer who snapped the first photo of the White House. The monument can at present be seen located between East Fayette and East Lexington streets.
