California – An Unknown Photographer
While this photograph is known to have been taken sometime during the 1860s, it is still unclear who took it. This picture was described as a “mysterious landscape” for the longest time. However, after some research, we now realize that the photograph was taken by an individual from Los Angeles Plaza who had to climb up to Fort Moore Hill.
The photograph still dates as one of the oldest images taken in the state, even if there are no other facts about it.
