Tennessee – Point Lookout
Tennessee has a rich history and some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in the US. In fact, it is so long that the mountain range passes across three entire states. Around 1860, Robert Linn took this photograph, picturing a variety of kids sitting on the side of Lookout Mountain.
Today, with a view that allows one to see for miles out from the mountain, the mountain is still one of the most sought-after attractions in Tennessee. However, the mountain top has now become even more touristy, covered with protective railings and viewing platforms.
