White Queso Dip
Again, hot dips are superior to cold dips, especially dips that have a cheese sauce. If you want a white queso dip to amplify the flavor of your nachos, this is the recipe for you.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add one pound of cubed white American cheese, ¾ of a cup of half-and-half, ¼ of a cup of diced jalapeno peppers (pickled or fresh), one teaspoon of vinegar, and 1/8 teaspoons of both ground cumin and cayenne pepper powder. Mix thoroughly before microwaving at 60-second intervals, making sure to mix the dip in between intervals. It should take between six and seven 60-second intervals to finish.
