When Volkswagen released this creative campaign, people went nuts over it, and we can see why. First, it appeals to a problem we all face every now and then: parking, and secondly, look at this cute porcupine. Aside from the adorable animals, the product seemed promising: Precision Parking – a built-in system that assists you during parking.
To demonstrate just how precise this new system is (and that it lives up to its name), the ad shows a porcupine trying to “park” between two bags of water, with the obvious danger that if he’s not precise enough, he’ll pop one of those bags with his sharp quills. Thanks to the new feature, the porcupine managed to park himself just right.
